Mycorrhiza forms a symbiotic relationship with plant roots. It colonizes the roots of the plant, forming a network of fine threads that extend into the surrounding soil, greatly expanding the plant's ability to absorb nutrients and water. Mycorrhiza enhances the soilmicrobiome in the rhizosphere zone.
